In future, only public transport and sharing services will be allowed in the city centre. The drastic reduction in the number of private vehicles will free up parking space and allow the creation of lanes fully dedicate to specific services.
Volkswagen Vizzi is a modular product-service designed for this scenario. The system is made by two basic components: the propulsion elements and a modular chassis. The modularity of the system allows to obtain different solutions, individual or shared, suitable for multiple scenarios of transport for people and goods.
The starting idea for the shared mobility solution of Vizzi is the bench as a meeting point in urban spaces. Thus, the seats are placed side by side along a single row, in front of the large entrance door. Thanks to the shape of the main structure, several vehicles can join in different configurations.
