Il secondo incontro, dal titolo “Alfa Romeo 4C: La Leggerezza del Design”, sarà con Alessandro Maccolini, dal 2011 Chief Designer Exterior del Centro Stile Alfa Romeo. Durante la sua carriera ha lavorato come Exterior e Interior Designer in numerosi progetti d’auto. I più importanti sono: Alfa Romeo 147, Alfa Romeo 156 Sport Wagon, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Alfa Romeo 4C.
Per questo secondo incontro verranno rilasciati 5 punti Design Explorer 2017-2018.
After an internship in Centro Stile Alfa Romeo in 1994, Alessandro Maccolini starts as freelance and he work for different companies as Lear Corporation for auto interiors and collaborate for product and furniture design. He began his career at the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo in 1997.
He works as a designer of exteriors and interiors participating in various projects.
The most important ones are: Alfa Romeo 147, Alfa Romeo 156 Sport Wagon, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Alfa Romeo 4C Concept and consequently the Coupe and Spider production cars.
In the period 2013 – 2017 he was directly involved on the new “Giorgio” platform that generated the last Giulia and Stelvio.
Starting from 2011 he holds the role of Chief of the Exterior for the brand Alfa Romeo.
