2040. Smart cities will spread everywhere and Artificial Intelligence will manage every daily task. Kimera is designed for those who want to escape in the wild, free from the machines.
Just like the mythological creature who named it, Kimera hides a double soul in a single body. It looks like a small urban van for four people, but it becomes an off-road vehicle when needed.
The most surprising part of the project is the possibility of releasing the traction system from the main body. Four telescopic legs come out from the shell, so that it changes into a minimalist housing module for camping. Conversely, the chassis becomes an explorer, an off-road quad to take off into the wild.
Transformation is also the main theme of the interior project, thanks to extensible materials that allow to reshape the space. The four seats available in the urban mode become a bed for camping and the cabinets can hold a small kitchen. The infotainment system, connected to both shell and explorer, allows the real time sharing of your emotions.
