During the eighth edition of the TAD Master, the project topic assigned by Volkswagen Group Design has been “Eco-dynamic cars” focusing on Audi brand.

The topic is particularly interesting because of the increasing importance of aerodynamic as a tool able to support car designers in creating cars that can follow the new upcoming antipollution rules. The challenge has been to design new cars, even small and non sportive ones, able to flow smoothly in the wind to save power. To reach this goal the TAD Master signed a partnership with Dallara Automobili, a leader company in designing and manufacturing racing and high performance vehicles, that supported students and teachers with design reviews focused on aerodynamics
